You can use this image scanner to quickly scan ID or drivers license to verify the age of your customers that purchase alcohol, cigarette, or other age restricted products, thereby helping you prevent unlawful selling to minors. The imager is capable of reading barcodes from computer or mobile phone screen, allowing you to implement mobile payments, mobile coupons, mobile boarding pass, digital loyalty and other mobile applications. It features Omni-directional, wide working range and laser aiming pattern scanning, making it easy to use the scanner. There is no need for the user to align item and scanner when scanning a product.

The DS9208 is available with optional integrated EAS, which helps you eliminate the need to purchase and maintain additional system at your point of sale register. The EAS feature also simplifies the checkout processes, eliminates missed tags, erroneous alarms that embarrass your customers. Its pick list feature allows the user to select and scan a single bar code from a bar code list or menu. This is handy when you try to scan items that are too small for bar code labels, such as nuts and bolts in a hardware store or tiny cosmetic brushes in a beauty shop.
