With the Symbol LS3578 rugged cordless scanner, your employees can now read and capture damaged or poorly printed barcodes over a wide range of distances, typically from as close as 0.25 inches to as far away as 45 feet. It features integrated Bluetooth connectivity that wirelessly provides reliable and secure data transmission between the scanner and host, including the Motorola VC5090 Vehicle Fixed-Mount Mobile Computer. Cordless or wireless - no cord between the host and the scanner means that your employees can now move freely throughout your yard, retail store, warehouse or manufacturing plant without restrictions, thereby increasing productivity and efficiency. Also no cord or wire means reduction in downtime from cable failures. The device features IP65-rated sealing, for protecting against water and dust that typically exist in harsh environments.

While the LS3578-ER features a wide working range of up to 45 feet, and allows your workers to scan items at varying distance without having to move around, the LS3578-FZ features a high performance fuzzy logic decode capability that allows your workers to quickly and accurately read barcodes on the first scan, including dirty, damaged, poorly printed or low contrast bar codes.
