The possible Sensaphone models, FGD-1104, FGD-1108, FGD-2000, Express II & IMS-4000 monitor the above listed potential problems, and call you right away, before the problem turns into a disaster. Features include:
Temperature:
With the temperature sensors, the models let you know if the temperature deviates from the required setpoint. Temperature limits can be programmed from -20° to +150° F (-30° to 65° C). See Temperature Sensors for Sensaphone or for IMS-4000
Humidity:
Maintain the humidity level your facility needs. Connect a Humidity sensor to your Sensaphone, and you will know the moisture content of the air almost any time. See Humidity Sensors for Sensaphone or for IMS-4000
Power Failure & Power Surges:
With the built-in monitoring for power failures, you will know right away if your facility loses power, before your network goes down. You can program how long a power outage lasts before you are informed. The units are equipped with backup batteries to keep them running for up to 24 hours after a power failure. The units also have a built-in surge protector. However, Phonetics advises that you protect your Sensaphone, and other electrical equipment connected to your phone line, with additional external surge protection. See Power Sensors for Sensaphone or for IMS-4000
Security:
Attach a Magnetic Reed Switch or an Infrared Motion Detector to monitor windows and doors. The Sensaphone will respond to opened windows and doors. You can even connect a pre-installed security system to the Sensaphone, saving you monthly fees paid to monitoring services. The unit will call whomever you choose - yourself, your employee, the police, the fire department, etc. See Magnetic Reed Switch / Motion Detector for Sensaphone or for IMS-4000
Smoke Alarm, Fire & Other Alarms:
With built-in sound monitoring, if you have a smoke detector or other alarm installed, the Sensaphone will hear it and respond. You program the level and duration of sound to which the Sensaphone responds. You can even call in and listen to sounds on location through the built-in microphone. Further, any equipment provided with a dry contact output can register an alarm condition with Sensaphone. See Smoke Detector for Sensaphone or for IMS-4000
IP Address Monitor:
The IMS-4000 monitors IP Devices through pinging and port availability. When a network component becomes unavailable, the IMS-4000 notifies you about which IP device is unavailable. You can monitor the status of network links, routers, printers and servers - any device that has an IP address. Each IMS-4000 Host and Node can monitor up to 64 devices. When a device does not respond to the IMS query, it contacts you immediately to alert you to the situation.
Sound:
Through the built-in microphone, you can call in at any time and listen to sounds at the location.
