The possible Sensaphone models monitor the above listed potential problems, and call you right away, before the problem turns into a disaster. Features include:
Temperature:
With the temperature sensors, the models let you know if the temperature deviates from the required setpoint. Temperature limits can be programmed from -20° to +150° F (-30° to 65° C). See Temperature Sensors
Power Failure:
All the Sensaphone models above monitor for power failure, and lets you know immediately when power to your refrigeration units goes off. You can program how long a power outage lasts before you are informed, from 0 seconds to 272 minutes. The units are equipped for back-up batteries to keep them running approximately 24 hours after a power failure. The units have built-in surge protection. However, manufacturer advises that you protect your Sensaphone, and other electrical equipment connected to your phone line, with additional external surge protection.
Alarms:
Any equipment with a dry contact output can be monitored for alarm conditions. With the 1104, 1108, 1400 or 1800, you can also monitor sound. If you have a smoke detector or other alarm mechanism installed, the Sensaphone will hear it and respond. You program the level and duration of sound to which the Sensaphone responds. Through the unit's built-in microphone, you can also call in and listen to sounds on location.
