This Magtek mini USB Sure Swipe card reader uses power from your computer to function. So, no external power supply is required. It features a 3-track magstripe reading capability and dual magnetic heads designed to help reduce confusion at Point of Sale checkout. The SureSwipe card swiper reads three tracks of data from all AAMVA and ISO encoded magnetic stripe cards. The swiper is available with USB interface, and can be configured by the user in the field. It has a small foot-print, and the user can easily install it. It also features a green and red LED indicator that provides a read status feedback to the user. The device is powered by your computer via the USB port to which it is connected, so no external power supply is needed. Also. no third party driver is required.
