The possible Sensaphone models monitor the above listed potential problems, and call you right away, before the problem turns into a disaster. Features include:
Temperature:
With the temperature sensors, the models let you know if the temperature deviates from the required setpoint. Temperature limits can be programmed from -20° to +150° F (-30° to 65° C). See Temperature Sensors
Pressure:
Sensaphone Express II, Sensaphone 2000, and SCADA 3000 offer universal inputs that can be configured as 4-20mA or 0-5V for any pressure gauge sensor that puts out from 0 to 5 volts. The Sensaphone 2000 offers Data Logging, downloadable Event Logging, Graphing and Polling to keep you informed of pressures and can store over 32,000 input readings. The SCADA 3000 has a built-in software for Ladder and C Programs, and PID Control.
Power Failure:
All the Sensaphone models above monitor for power failure. The Express II can use Dry Contact (N.O./N.C.) sensors and comes with a Gel-cell rechargeable backup battery to provide 6-12 hours of backup operation. The Sensaphone 2000 monitors AC power in addition to its 8 universal inputs. It includes a compartment for 6 Nickel-Cadmium batteries to provide 10-15 hours of backup. The Sensaphone SCADA 3000 C Programming allows you to program any input to monitor AC power.
Flow Rates:
Express II, Sensaphone 2000 and SCADA 3000 accept 4-20mA sensors that can be attached to analog flow meters, and 0-5V transducers, which can themselves be flow meters. Express II, in addition to 4-20 mA and 0-5V, can be configured for Pulse Count sensors. A typical pulse count sensor is a flow meter utilizing a turbine to measure flow by accumulating pulses. Sensaphone 2000 allows monitoring of flow meters in real-time graphical form using bars, gauge or contact status forms.
Alarms:
High and low alarm limits are programmable in the Sensaphone 2000 and Sensaphone SCADA 3000. The Express II includes a built-in microphone allowing you to listen in to sound levels on site. You can program the unit to respond with an alarm when sound levels exceed a normal level.
Timers:
The Express II has a built-in Time Accumulator for use with Normally Open Dry Contact inputs, to accumulate and tally the total amount of time that an input sensor is closed. The Sensaphone 2000's real-time Data and Event logging record information at specified intervals. The Sensaphone SCADA 3000 can be used with solid state input modules for interfacing with external devices.
