The Magtek iDynamo Secure Card Reader Authenticator (SCRA) has been designed to work with various Apple iPhone products to offer MagneSafe security to merchants and mobile users that process electronic payments on the go. iDynamo provides open standards encryption with DUKPT key management, card authentication, MagnePrint, and tokenization of card data to maximize card data protection and help prevent the use of counterfeit cards. This gives mobile merchants the opportunity to leverage the power of iPhones and iPods with no worries of handling and storing sensitive credit card data. Bundleseed and Secure Encryption are the two programming pieces required for this device.
iDynamo is a mobile card reader that comes in two standard configuration kits. The iDynamo adapter kit with 30 pin connector includes adapter for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch. The iDynamo 5 adapter kit with lightning connector includes adapter for iPhone 5, iPad mini, iPad with Retina Display, and iPod touch 5th generation. This device is affordable and rugged, so it can be used in most environments.
