The possible Sensaphone models, FGD-1104, FGD-1108, FGD-2000 monitor the above listed potential problems, and call you right away, before the problem turns into a disaster. Features include:
Frozen Pipes:
With the built-in temperature sensor, the models let you know about cold temperatures before your pipes burst. Temperature limits can be programmed from -20° to +150° F (-30° to 65° C).

House Flooding:
With a Water Detection sensor, you will know right away that a water heater or a pipe has bursted, or rainwater is seeping into the house or basement before the water causes some damage. See Water Sensors
Power Failure:
With the built-in monitoring for power failures, you will know right away if there is power outage at your home. You can program how long a power outage lasts before you are informed. The units are equipped with backup batteries to keep them running for up to 24 hours after a power failure.
Theft:
Attach a standard Magnetic Reed Switch or an Infrared Motion Detector to monitor windows and doors. The Sensaphone will respond to opened windows and doors. You can even connect a pre-installed security system to the Sensaphone, saving you monthly fees paid to monitoring services. Smoke Alarm, Fire & Other Alarms:
With built-in sound monitoring, if you have a smoke detector or other alarm installed, the Sensaphone will hear it and respond. You program the level and duration of sound to which the Sensaphone responds. You can even call in and listen to sounds on location through the built-in microphone. Further, any equipment provided with a dry contact output can register an alarm condition with Sensaphone.See Smoke Detector.
Sound:
Through the built-in microphone, you can call in at any time and listen to sounds at the location.
