Accurate Inventory & Sales
“We had a hard time keeping track of our inventory before incorporating the Cash Register Express ( CRE ) POS Software,” notes Scott. With their previous cash register system, the employees had to manually handwrite receipts. Numbers from the different receipts had to be added together to determine quantity sold of each item, stock on hand and the amount to reorder. Cash Register Express tracks all this information automatically. The cashiers touch or scan the items they are selling and all stock values and prices are automatically handled. CRE can even read the bar codes off of pre-packaged meat and produce. “Being in the meat business, another nice feature of CRE is its ability to read random-weight bar codes, while at the same time ELIMINATING costly mathematical errors that have plagued us when using
handwritten invoices.”
