The sanitized plastic casing offers additional protection from routine cleaning and disinfection from specialized cleaning solutions used in the healthcare industry. The scanners withstand repeated drops from 5 feet.
Some models of the Gryphon-HC healthcare scanner feature Batch Mode capability which allows thousands of codes to be stored in memory. This feature and the long lasting 50K scans per charge Li-Ion battery allows unlimited mobility and reliable data collection when the user is out of range from the base station. The scanners also feature standard multi-interfaces that provide easy and flexible host connection via USB, RS-232, Keyboard Wedge or Wand Emulation. The scanner comes with Datalogic configuration program that provides user-friendly start-up procedure, even for first time and inexperienced users.
