Unitech MS335 CCD Linear Imager & POS Scanner
The MS335 is an easy to use handheld CCD scanner and linear imager by Unitech. This is a long-range CCD barcode reader with scanning technology that offers a reading range of a laser scanner. As with other Unitech scanners, the MS335 is a multi-interface scanner with support for USB, RS232, and Keyboard Wedge interfaces, and is available in black and light blue colors. This multi-interface design gives the scanner the flexibility that allows users to simply replace a damaged cable only, instead of replacing both the cable and scanner as commonly seen in scanners with hard wired cables.
The MS335 scanner features an adjustable and clear audible beepers and a visible light LED that allows the user to confirm when the barcode data is successfully captured. This good-read feed back feature, coupled with its simple setup and high scan rate of 230 scans per second, helps the user to maximize productivity. Configuring and setting up the MS335 imager is made easy by either using the simple software that comes with the unit, or by scanning the barcodes in the user guide included in the package. The device can be used as a handheld or as a hands-free POS scanner. With its optional stand, the imager can be used as a presentation scanner.
The Unitech MS335 linear imager scanner can be purchased as a scanner only or as a kit. The kit includes the scanner and option of RS232, USB or keyboard wedge cable. The serial RS232 kit option includes the required 110V power supply. The kit options with part numbers MS335-XU1G, MS335-XP1G and MS335-XR1G include the hands-free stand. Rugged and able to withstand 5-foot drop to concrete, this scanner has been designed with no moving parts, allowing its CCD scan engine to provide a reliable and excellent service at low price. With the combination of its rich features and performance, this scanner is suitable for barcode scanning in retail point of sale, office, healthcare, and light industial environments.
